Inmate Mail

FCI SAFFORD
FEDERAL CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION
P.O. BOX 9000
SAFFORD, AZ 85548
Sending A Mail Or Package
Before you send anything:
- Check the envelope! Make sure your full name and address are on it.
- Write the inmate’s full name (as they’re registered in the jail), their SPN (special number), and cell block area.
What NOT to send:
- Perfume, body fluids like lipstick or makeup
- Sexy pictures
- Medicine
- Cash
- Food or snacks
- Anything illegal (contraband)
How To Send Money?
Skip the cash! Sending cash by mail won’t work.
Use a money order instead: Write their full name and inmate number on it.
Maybe try other options: Call the jail at 928-428-6600 to see if they have newer ways to add money, like Touch Pay Direct.
How To Make Phone Calls?
They can’t call you, but they can collect your call. That means you pay for the call.
Some jails also let them call regular numbers now. This might be cheaper than collect calls.
Just remember:
- All calls are recorded and listened to by the jail, so keep things safe.
- They might not be able to call some numbers, and the jail won’t always tell you why.
