Telephone Calls for Inmates

Here’s the gist:

  • Inmates use special phones to call out, but can’t get calls.
  • Calls are handled by GTL.
  • Calls happen between 7:30 am and 10 pm, maybe 24/7 in some places.
  • Calls last 20 minutes max.

If you can’t receive inmate calls:

  • Your phone likely flagged GTL’s numbers (480-448-2204 or 480-409-2926) as spam.

Outgoing Calls

  • All calls inmates make are recorded and listened to.
  • They can call pretty much anywhere in the world, except a few countries.
  • In the US and Canada, they can call people who have special accounts set up.
  • They can also buy calling cards from the jail store to call anywhere.
  • No three-way calls are allowed!

Billing

Two easy ways to pay for your calls:

  1. Collect: When you make a call, the person you call pays. Just set up an account with GTL first!
  2. Prepaid: Pay for your calls in advance, like topping up your phone. Again, you’ll need a GTL account.

How to set up your account:

  • Call 1-877-650-4249.
  • Visit GTL’s website: web.connectnetwork.com.
