Instructions for Money Deposits – Jail Visitation Lobby Window

  • Bring a money order or cashier’s check – no cash, checks, or cards allowed.
  • Show your ID (driver’s license, state ID, etc.)
  • There’s no limit on how much you can add.
  • Double-check the receipt before leaving to make sure everything is correct.

Money Releases

Sending money to an inmate:

  • The inmate fills out a form saying who you are and how much to send.
  • The jail sends you a check made out to that person.
  • They need to show a valid ID (driver’s license, etc.) to cash the check.

What happens to the money after release:

  • The inmate gets a check for any money left in their account when they are released.

What you can’t do:

  • You can’t send money directly from one inmate’s account to another.

Sending a Package / Mail

What you can send:

  • Any kind of mail (letters, cards)
  • Packages (but ask for permission first by calling 602-876-1870)

Where to send it:

Write the inmate’s name and ID number on the mail or package, then send it to this address:

Phone calls

  • When can they call? Between 7 am and 7:30 pm, but…
  • Rush hour calls: During busy times, calls get shorter to 10 minutes.
  • Who pays? The person outside receives the call and pays for it.
  • Length of call? Up to 30 minutes (except during rush hour).

Visitation Rules

  1. Get on the list: Make sure you’re on the approved visitor’s list for the person you want to see. Call the jail to confirm before you show up.
  2. No bad apples: You can’t visit if you’ve been convicted of a felony in the past.
  3. ID please: Bring a valid government ID, like your driver’s license.
  4. Little visitors: Kids under 16 need a parent or legal guardian with them.
